Omni in London

"Finding a fully vegan caterer for a wedding is a lot more difficult than one might expect, so we were so happy to not only have a fully vegan menu for our big day but also to be able to serve food from one of our favourite South London restaurants, Omni. It was the perfect food to share with guests who were sceptical about vegan food. When we had our first tasting we just knew that this was food we would be proud to serve at our wedding. We had two tastings to make sure everything was just right, and Jess and George were so receptive to feedback. They were also incredibly organised and quick to respond throughout the process. which, as anyone planning a wedding knows, is essential. They went above and beyond in helping us work out the drinks and alcohol side of things too. In fact, we were thinking about spending more on alcohol but they gently discouraged us with their knowledge of running events which turned out to be the right decision. We felt supported from start to finish and couldn’t have asked for better food or service on our big day."

"Came here for the Tuesday evening tasting menu and found the whole experience exceptional. £40pp actually seemed like really good value for money for eight courses plus pickles and olives. Each dish was varied and beautiful with really interested flavours you would never do at home, it did vegan food amazing justice! Atmosphere and service was lovely and didn’t feel pretentious. Plus some really interesting fermented wines to choose from and 241 on high quality cocktails. Loved the little environmental details, from eco friendly loo roll to the minor £1.23 optional charge on the bill to plant a tree! Highly recommend everything to do with this place."

"Lovely cosy atmosphere with delicious food! I thought the £40 set menu was great value for loads of food. I loved the wine list full of amazing wines and the delicious cocktails were amazing. Each dish was so flavourful and beautifully presented. Service was friendly and speedy. My only let down was the custard tart which was a little flat and small and not up to the same quality as the rest of the dishes, especially for the price. Overall, I can’t wait to return!"

"Great menu with yummy vegan options. Short ribs and oyster mushroom burgers were inventive and tasty and you certainly don’t feel like you are missing out by choosing not to eat meat. Chilled atmosphere with good background music and friendly staff. Only criticism was it was on the higher side price wise - the plates are small so you order a few and it all adds up!"

"They have a great vegan set menu and good selection of wines and cocktails. The set menu comes slowly, which is great, each plate has a different flavour and something new. I'd recommend going as a group and sharing the plates."

"This is an absolute hidden gem of a place. The staff are really nice and helpful. They do lunch menus but also a set taster dinner which I recommend. Lots of small tasting dishes that soon add up to a full stomach. Everything was extremely well thought out and tasty. I had my mind opened to a few things I was certain I didn't like but how they prepared them was beautiful. Looks like the menu changes often so I will be back!"

"We have been wanting to come to Omni since it opened and it did not disappoint! The £40 all in may seem expensive but for the amount of dishes and flavour sensations you get, it is well worth it. It was so nice to come to a restaurant that got you talking about your food, and where you could clearly see the passion that goes into it from the owners. When asked what our favourite dish was we simply couldn't choose. We can't wait to come back!"

"Went here for a birthday meal and opted for the all in menu. Each course was flavourful, original and well presented, and enjoyed the variety of dishes. Really great selection of wines. Was able to try one before ordering a bottle which I always appreciate. Great value for money too. Will definitely go back to try another months menu and cocktails."
